Mark Ecko has grown to become one of the youngest and most successful entrepreneurs of our time, he has been issued in various magazines for his work. This young entrepreneur started his dream as a young graffiti artist with determination and a dream, that determination and work ethic helped lead him to the top. He now holds Mark Ecko enterprises under his belt. Mark Ecko Enterprises “includes: Ecko Unltd. (menswear), Eckored (womenswear), Marc Ecko cut and sew, Eckored Kids and lines of everything from outerwear to all sorts of accessories such as watches and belts. To add to this, he also has complex magazine an urban lifestyle publication, Avirex Sportswear; G-Unit Clothing Co, and Zoo York. Recently Ecko partnered with Atari, Inc., to release the video game “Marc Ecko’s Getting UP: Contents Under Pressure,” based on a story Ecko wrote about a graffiti artist.” This thirty three year old graffiti artist turned clothing designer proved that all you need to succeed is determination a dream and drive. He started his company with six t shirts and his empire has grown to become a billion dollar company. He now sits as the youngest member of the board of Council of Fashion Designers of America. “More recently, the designer supported a First Amendment lawsuit filed by a group of teenagers protesting an amendment to New York City’s anti-graffiti laws that prohibited the sale of broad-tipped markers or spray paint cans to anyone under the age of 21. As of July, a federal judge granted an injunction against the amendments pending a final decision on the teens’ lawsuit”. Mark has also cofounded a non profit organization called SEE (sweat equity enterprises) that allows inner city teens to “have a hands on education into the world of design”. It gives them the tools, knowledge and experience that they may other wise have never had available to them otherwise. To Mr. Echo we say Good Job on all your achievements and you are a true inspiration to young entrepreneurs like us. BIG UP!!!!
